Changelog

New tools and major updates, newest first. Found a bug or missing a tool? See About for how to reach us.

Guides and richer tool pages

  • 19 practical guides on JSON, JWTs, Unix time, Base64, regex and SQL, each linked to the tool it supports.
  • JSON Formatter, JSON Validator, JWT Decoder, Timestamp Converter and Base64 Encoder & Decoder pages gain worked examples, common errors and fixes, and privacy notes.
  • Every category page now explains which tool to pick, compares the tools and shows common workflows.
  • This changelog, and a maintainer note on the About page.

Hairline design

  • A new black-and-white look with 1px lines and one accent colour, in light and dark.
  • Custom dropdowns in every tool, with search on long lists such as timezones.
  • The command palette recognises a pasted JWT, timestamp, URL, colour, UUID, cURL command, Base64 or JSON and offers the tools that open it.
  • The left nav shows your recent tools; the right rail summarises the current JSON document.

New layout for all 56 tools

  • Eight tool groups, a three-column layout, focus mode (⌘. / Ctrl .), pinned tools and recents.
  • Smart paste: press ⌘K (Ctrl K) or paste anywhere and DevPrix opens the matching tool with your data filled in.
  • Send a tool's output straight to the next tool, and share a link that carries your input.

New home at devprix.io

  • The site moved from devprix.dev to devprix.io. Old links redirect; email still uses the devprix.dev address.

Engineering blog

  • Four deep-dives on how the SQL formatter, QR encoder, diff algorithm and the tool set were built.

56 tools

  • Nine new tool pages, and how-to content and FAQs for every tool.

Launch

  • DevPrix launches with 47 free developer tools that run in the browser.
